ZP Theart – Vocals
ZP Theart is world renowned for his powerful and recognizable voice and as being a founding member of Dragonforce. He toured the world for the best part of 11 years from 1999-2010, playing sold out shows all over the globe and has performed on some of the biggest stages, to audiences of up to 85,000 people at a time.
With one of his tracks featured on the Guitar Hero game in 2007 and gaining over 48 million views on Youtube, his success with the band saw him nominated for a Grammy in 2009. He has 1 live and 4 studio albums behind him, and this marks his 5th and first with new band ‘I AM I’.
With 11 years of serious performing behind him, ZP is an absolute must see live, he epitomizes everything a real rock front man should be, and performs honestly and effortlessly. If you want a real rock show, with a front man who has no boundaries, endless amounts of energy and don’t mind a swear word or two, then he is definitely worth watching.
Jacob Ziemba – Guitars
Jacob Ziemba is an exceptionally talented Polish born guitarist/composer who joined the legendary Polish rock band KSU aged 19. In 2004 Jacob moved to the UK in the search of better musical aspirations, starting his own project called Jade Lizard working with musicians Bob Katsionis (Firewind) and Gus Monsanto (ex Adagio, ex Revolution Renaissance). After the end of this project, Jacob was contacted by ZP Theart and immediately came on board with I AM I.
Neil Salmon – Bass
Neil has spent most of his life playing bass, including being a member of Structured Chaos, Led by Voices, Near Death Experiment, Born of War and Six Second Silence. After meeting up with ZP, they both realised that, with the energy and fun that Neil brought to the table along with some really kicking bass playing, he would be the perfect fit for I AM I. He also brings plenty of experience on the live front, having gigged in bands for almost ten years, including playing the Southern Sounds Festival in London.
Phil Martini – Drums
Phil Martini has built up a glowing reputation for his solid and articulate rock drumming, both in the studio and the live arena. After playing and touring with his first professional band Tokyo Dragons, he went on to become a member of Joe Elliott's Down 'N' Outz - the Def Leppard frontman's new project. He's also worked with Ian Hunter (Mott The Hoople), The Union, Quireboys, Claytown Troupe and has recorded with some highly respected producers including: Luke Morley, Ronan McHugh, Joe Elliott, Nick Brine, Pedro Ferreira, Kurt Bloch, Nigel Godrich. After a chance meeting with ZP in London, Phil was quickly brought on board the I AM I team.
Andy Midgley – Guitars
Andy Midgley has gained a reputation amongst his peers and fans alike for his melodic style of guitar playing. Most notably he is known for his work with Power Quest in which he recorded and toured internationally with amongst bands such as Symphony X and Freedom Call. Andy has also made several guest appearances on other artists albums including Gary Barden's (MSG) solo records and is currently involved a project with the Holzwarth brothers (Rhapsody/Blind Guardian). Andy was contacted by ZP Theart shortly after it was announced that Power Quest had split up and promptly joined the I AM I family.
